we are 3 friends and fellow artists who met while studying a visual arts degree at SCU.
around our homes and studios we each have a myriad of bits and pieces, each piece holding a story; made, collected, given, found - they are a treasure trove of inspiration and memory for us.
we chose the theme of ‘white’ and gathered significant pieces which we brought together into this bower. as we started laying out each object, we realised that the e.e. cummings poem - Spring is like a perhaps hand - perfectly described our placement of these objects in this space; effortlessly, playfully, thoughtfully combining and unifying them into our collective.
through the act of bringing them out and arranging and sharing them with each other they became rejuvenated/revitalised for us.

Spring is like a perhaps hand
(which comes carefully
out of Nowhere)arranging
a window,into which people look(while
people stare
arranging and changing placing
carefully there a strange
thing and a known thing here)and
changing everything carefully
spring is like a perhaps
Hand in a window
(carefully to
and fro moving New and
Old things,while
people stare carefully
moving a perhaps
fraction of flower here placing
an inch of air there)and
without breaking anything.
